Alright I had new headlight bulbs put in my 98 explorer, but now my headlights shine down way to much, even though they are adjusted all the way up, before the headlights were adjusted all the way up they shined straight down on the road. Not much better now, though. Anybody know what the problem may be... Also I don't have a owner's manual. :(

Did you have just the bulbs replaced, or the entire headlight assembly? Typically, adjusting headlight aim isn't something that is done unless the complete headlight assembly is replaced or some part of the core support was damaged or replaced.

who replaced the bulbs???? check to make sure that they are correctly mounted into the sockets / retainers.

What bulbs did you use? If the old bulbs were a brighter bulb like Sylvania Silverstars and you put in a put in a standard bulb this could be your problem.

The new bulbs that I put in was brighter than the one's before they were the standards and I put in the Sylvania one's. I finally went today and had new bulbs put in again...same type and everything and these work! Very well actually!:)
