I'd try to dig up some reviews on Amazon, and hopefully even better ones on Youtube of at least the same brand if not for Explorers, would not spend that much without some kind of assurance it's not just Chinese junk or spreads the beam in a blinding pattern.
I'd want more specs too, particularly that they are not so blue as to be 6000K color temp or higher, and what the claimed vs real lumen output is.
[rant]One thing is for certain, that the seller/distributor/whoever is lying when they state "SAE & DOT Approved"... pass the buck, a seller says a distributor told them and the distributor says the manufacturer did and the manufacturer denies they even made them (lol). However they want to spin it, it's a false statement.
That doesn't necessarily make them illegal, but I hate the state of the LED industry today where too many pretend that truth doesn't matter and that consumer protection laws do not exist.[/rant]
