I am just trying to figure out where to ask, as in what section of the forum.

But I guess this would do, it's an 2002 Explorer XLT 4.6L 4x4. Just a few things that I had already looked after. Had to replace the rear springs, both were broken. Today my wife tells me that the vehicle is making some strange noise. So I take it out and notice that there is grinding in the rear right. Took the wheel off, and noticed that the rear half shaft is seperating from the wheel hub. So I need to get that replaced A.S.A.P. Also noticed this was broken:

Correct me if I am wrong but, Stabelizer arm is the proper name I guess. Can't really find any that are being sold. It's late in the evening I guess, have to start tommorow morning.

I don't see a specific tech section on suspension/drivetrain repairs and maintenance.

or called a sway bar, junkyard if there are any close. . . .

Thanks for all the input, really apreciate it. I phoned a few other places here localy and got a new axle on the way for $170. Very happy with that price, sure beats the stealerships $620 quote.

Is it from a parts house or salvage yard?
