New HID-like bulbs - disappointment...

Well, just received the HID-like bulbs (blue coated $12.95 9007s), and one of them barely emits any light, like working 10% brightness...

What causes that? Defective bulb? Burnt bulb? I did not touch it with my fingers, old one works when put back in...

I will see what you suggest and then either contact the seller (ebay) and hope he would help me out, or simply buy another pair and have a spare...

I wouldnt waste your time with cheap HID wannabe light bulbs, go to your local auto parts store and get a set of Slyvania Silverstarts. They are about $20-$25 a bulb, but are worth it for the 2nd gen Xs...
