New HU doesn't work! Help!

Installed new Sony HU to replace old Sony HU with dead CD. Installed new HU, powered it up, but no sound at all. No pop, no buzz, no nuthin. Truck has factory premium sound w/factory sub. That should not be a problem though since the previous Sony worked great until the CD player died. Where do I start looking???? Thanks!!!

No, same power: 25Wx4 RMS.

Um first thing i would do is get a small speaker and hook it up to the outputs on the HU to make sure the HU works fine...thats what i did with mine...or u can check and make sure that the blue power wire is connected to the amp turn on....that is if u dont have an amp bypass...hope this helps

The premium sound system has a factory amp and you need to give that amp a signal before it can send anything to the speakers. Make sure you connect the blue remote turn on wire on the back of the HU to the blue wire on the wiring harness if you bought one or otherwise connect it to the appropriate wire. I ran into that problem when installing my HU. If thats not it than i dont know what to tell you.
