Well Black Magic was having problems starting and staying running the other day. So I dropped her off at Sunset Ford. They called to see what the problem was since she started for them over and over. I explained that it would not start unless I floored it to pluse the injectors. Other times it would not stay running unless I keep giving her gas while stopped. So the tech said that it should be the Idle Air Controler and it was covered under my 100k warranty. I said let's do it. So yesterday I picked her up. W:eek:W! Black Magic is running so strong now. When I left the parking lot I was making a left in to traffic and she decided to break loose and fish tail. Yes, I know, no big deal. However, I was not really flooring it or anything just gettin' on it to get into traffic speed. She has alway's been strong, but now it is a good amount of difference. Also running much smoother! I have noticed that it is much more apt to spinning the tires now than ever before. I was playing arround in the empty parking lot this morning here at work and can burn them at a 20mph rolling start! Never done that before.

I fugure that the IAC would be controling RPM, Air/Fuel...? Anything else?

So has the new IAC really made that much of a difference or is this new power all in my head?

When playing with your "new power", did you have the HVAC on or off?

Matt,

I've had good experience with Sunset Ford. How do you like their new building. It looks like a computer sales office and not a parts department. I was afraid to put my old parts up on their counter it was so clean I asked for a rag.
