So it looks like the incentives got worse.

They are only giving $500 in cash now. No more $1,000.

Anyone know what happened to the explorer loyalty money it doesn't show on the site...

Haha I guess this thing is selling too well...

I can't remember the old interest rates, they may be better now, but I could be wrong.

Just saw it. No, the rates look the same to me, at least at the terms I was looking at. Not even competitive with what you can get at a CU.

Does anyone know what the new rates are for leases? Previously on a 36 month lease it was 53% residual and interest was 2.5. I'd love to know what it is now to see if I'm going to pass on Ford or not.

If Ford had the right customer service they would honor any incentives and pricing for the MANY people that ordered a vehicle that had a scheduled delivery date of 4/4 or prior. That's just common sense if you want to keep customers. That's exactly what my business would do. They would not be losing anything by doing that and would create a great deal more loyalty in the process.

I don't think it should matter for delivery date..it should take in account when you ordered!
I ordered back in Jan, my ETA is 4/8-4/15. The $750 coupon is good til 5/31. My dealer says the $1000 cash back will be honored. We shall see when all is said & done.
But, this will be the last vehicle I ever order....

In Canada they raised the lease rate to 6.99% 48 month ,when I ordered it was 4.99% 48 month. They added $1,000 for Costco members only. My dealer has always told me that Ford always has an ultimate number in mind ,so every period will have its own incentives ,that when grouped together will generally equal out , providing you qualify for the incentives to group. He who giveth take away.

You know, when you're right....you're right. :D

Can't believe you ordered back in January and are still waiting....but you're like many others. I ordered end of Feb, built on 3/30 and I'm guessing the car will now come in during the month of June sometime.

Yup ordered in Jan..truck was built 3/29 and sync was installed 3/30(2.7) and supposedly is in transit.
When I called Ford for an update yesterday, I asked about the incentives & the woman so nicely told me that the dealers technically did not have to give me the $1000 when I ordered because the small print said "take delivery from retail stock". I politely reminded her that that would have been fabulous had there actually been stock to chose from! I also told her I had no control over how or when my truck got built & delivered, so why do they think it is ok to punish me..the person actually putting their money down?!

I think I'm going to call Ford Marketing and escalate the crap out of this issue. My dealer hasn't responded to my email yet (SHOCKING I know) and I'm going to call him today to see what they are prepared to do. I ordered on December 31, was told 6-8 weeks, which would have been WELL before the April 4 expiration of the $1,000 cash. My actual ETA for delivery ended up being 4/2 (then moved to today, but that ain't happening). So whether you count the order data or the actual ETA, both were before expiration of the incentive. I can cite many people who ordered after me and got their cars before I did, and thus qualified for the incentive. How crazy is that "logic"?

I agree 100%. I am a very loyal Ford customer and have been since I was born. I would never switch brands but I think that Ford has dropped the ball all the way around on the Explorer. My husband told me not to worry about what the incentives are now...more than likly we wont get our until next month anyways.

Jon..let me know what happens. My dealer didn't call me back yesterday, like he said. But, he did insist they would honor the incentives like they originally agreed.

Bummer! I wish there had been something on the lots this past weekend that fit our needs. We drove to 4 different dealers but didn't find a match and I just couldn't bear to order--don't want to wait 3 months!

Is this a national offer? When I plug in my zip code it only shows financing rates...nothing about $500 cash back...hmmmm.

Just go in today and ask the dealer to do the paperwork, and have them date it yesterday. This way you have no issues from ford.

My understanding is ford wont allow that because they know the vehicle hasnt been delivered.

My dealer did it for me to make things work out for another issue. Just ask them. What is the worst they can do? Say no... If they say yes you will save yourself $500 or more if you factor in interest on that $500...

I have just been told that my incentive will be $500 not the $1000 that was in place when I ordered the vehicle. I was built 3/16 and delivered to the dealer on 4/6. Is the gist of this thread that Ford won't honor the $1000?

There is another thread on here pertaining to the deals/rebates/incentives being honored.
They are told to call their zone rep & get an authorization code for them to claim rebates/incentives.

Lease rates went up... it looks like my payment will be about 10% higher than orginally thought... also... lease rates seem to be in an unprotected part of the new Ford Plan

Hmm would a lease be considered a APP/Flex plan?
I don't see anything with the wording "lease" for the program.

When I leased in March, the rate was 4.99% for 48 months. I was able to reduce it to 3.49% by the use of a refundable security deposit. Maximum reduction is 1.5%. On my Limited it cost me $6250 and that will be refunded at the end of the lease. Not sure if Ford in the U.S. offers that or not.
