It's not mine but I am really considering doing the Grille like that. What do you guys think?

Ive never been a huge fan of grilles like that. Its a great alternative look, though, jsut not really my style...

Maybe if the grille didnt seem so flat. Like, if each horizontal bar had some depth to it, it would really bring out the look. And the Ford badge looks blacked out on that Ex. Ive always been proud to have the oval on my car I couldnt see myself taking it off.

All in all it looks pretty good. If only i had the money to buy a grille guard and that K&N intake...

I did mine with a grill from Carrage Works. No emblem at all in the middle. And then I had the wide piece of plastic chrome going across the middle painted black. Lot O Compliments.

I would agree on the "flatness" of that grill, nice for someone else's ride, but not mine, if it were darker, maybe that would be better, but then could look like a giant hole/gap

FJB20 - The notes say you need to cut the original grill to install that one. Was it easy to do?

What I did was go to Ford -- Bought another grill -- Yes it had to be cut but if ya take your time or ya know what you're doin -- Took me a few hours but I was **** and scared of the job -- Not too good or too cautious with thing I've never done
but it came out great -- At least for me -- Wish I could post it but no scanner

As I continue to research I see there are two types of Billet Grill. The Bolt-over type and the kind where you cut out the grill. I like the cut-out type I have seen. What do you guys think?
