New Magnaflow Exhaust Sysytem Installed.

Well, I got it installed finally. I bought the muffler and tip off of ebay and had a muffler shop inslall it using 2.5" piping. All I can say is, it soumds awesome. Nice and deep, pretty loud when you get on the gas. Will have a video of it soon.

Looks, um.....installed. Not the neatest job I've ever seen, but functional, I guess. At least it sounds like it should now (ie not whisper quiet).

I just noticed that now, as long as it don't leak I'm fine with it. I'll get some more shots latter on.

I hope you know that it was installed wrong. I hope it never fails on you casue you just voided your magnaflow lifetime warranty. Other than that its a very nice system

He had a Magnaflow muffler stand in his shop, so he should be a dealer.

It looks like the stock pipe is 2 1/4" and they slapped a 2 1/2" pipe over it, then filled in the gap with a ginormous snot weld. The problem is probably going to be corrosion right at that huge lumpy weld. Usually that much disimilar metal combined causes rust. If it was me and I paid a fair amount of money, I'd bring it back and make them use the proper size pipe, like a 2 1/4-to-2 1/2 adapter.

Either way ... Sound > Looks.
Its not like people are going to be shoving their head underneath your truck to see your exhaust. As long as it sounds good and dosnt leak.

If any of the welds break or leak I'll go back and have them do it again.
