New Mass. Explorer Owner to the Forum!!

I just bought a 1995 White Ford Explorer XLT and was just looking around the net to look for upgrades to the suspension and exterior.

It has a Blue interior which is in pretty good shape for the year and milage.

Has 190,457 Miles on a V6... 4x4 is strong and the motor just needs cleaned and tune up... but otherwise well maintained... has a couple rust spot that i will adress first... Looked at some stuff on Ebay... Is there anything i should watchout for??? Saw the Projector Group buy in the For Sale forum already but since this is going to be the Wifes car she will be reading into this forum more! LMAO

I Have owned a Ford before and the Japanese BG counter part the Protege.

I unfortunatly lost my 93 Escort wagon project as the rear unibody rails were very rusted and since i bought all the parts for the Protege to put in it, I'm Rebuilding a 1990 Mazda Protege LX and working with the 1st gen BP DOHC 1.8... I'm also part of the FEOA.net and CLub Protege.come Forums so if anyone knows me over there Hello! :

Rust spots on the dog legs and rear wheel wells are common around hear.. Be sure and check out the various forums as they have lots of info for many issues you may need info on:

I've already been looking around to diagnois some issues i'm having...

Yea i've seen many explorers and rangers with the rust issues... But i'm loving this truck... So is my wife LOL She loves the flip-switch 4x4 the most!!

I'm having some issues with the tranny as above 60 it seems to slip every once iin a while and feels like the rear grinds if i try to push it... below that there is no issues with the tranny But i'll look around... Would like to maybe meet sometime when your not to busy... i live over on Court and Hunt St. near the police station!

Looking for some small performance mods and basic body info to fix the body stuff and some exterior mods to clean up with look! See you around!!
