Hey guys, I'm Bill from Dayton, OH.
This is my 2nd Explorer, it's an 02 4WD with the 4.0, 3rd Row seat.
I just picked it up for a steal, it had an engine/tranny swap done as the beginning of a project vehicle but the previous owner stopped for who knows what reason. It needed a new suspension still, brakes were rotted out all the way around, the front bumper cover needed swapped and that back trim piece needed replaced.
So far I did the front suspension, new struts, control arms, tie rod ends; which btw I never realized how cheap moog was on rockauto. I also did the brakes/rotors all the way around. I managed to find someone on craigslist selling a front bumper cover for $30 that was the same exact color. Which was...awesome.
So, anyone know of ways to treat color fade on the door panel plastic?
