2014 Ford Explorer
Hi There!
Since I just purchased by new 2014 Explorer Limited last Friday, I thought I'd join in so I can hopefully learn some things about my new car and keep an eye open for potential issues.

This is my second Explorer, first was a 2004 that I just sold to help pay for this new one. My 2004 was awesome - good, strong engine and well built - so I'm hoping I get the same from my newer, most beautiful model!!

I downloaded the MFT app on my iPad so I could learn all the different menus and options AT HOME on my couch instead of while I'm trying to drive and it's been most helpful.

So far I'm love, love, lovin' it!! But then again I've only ever owned Ford vehicles so enough said. :)

Looking forward to many more posts.

Welcome to the Forum Boots2014. :wavey:
There is a lot to learn AND remember about this vehicle. I would like to suggest that you download the PDF version of your Owner's Guide from this location; https://owner.ford.com/servlet/Cont...oLogin=Owner/Page/OwnerGuidePage&ord=82826776

You don't have to sign onto that site. Just select the Year/Make/Model and click on 'Find My Vehicle'. Save the document to your computer and you will find it much easier to locate items in the book. Use the computer's 'Find' feature to look for things and it will save a lot of time. I see the manual is already in its 2nd print.
I don't know if these new generation Explorers are as well built and rock solid as the older ones but I'm very happy with mine and love it.
Happy motoring. :)

Peter
