1989 Ford Bronco II
Hello,

I am a new member who is currently in the process of turning my Bronco II into an Explorer.
The project started as a bone stock 1989 Ford Bronco II xl. Now it's a little less stock.

Body & Frame are still 1989 Bronco II
Interior has been swapped to 1990 Bronco II Eddie Bauer w/ heated seat addition.
I also added a sunroof from a 1993 Explorer.
Axles are 1998 Explorer 8.8 31 spline disk in the rear & 1994 Ford Explorer D35 up front.
- Both are geared at 4.56 & locked
Running explorer rear leaf springs, extended shackles, and 3" lift blocks in the rear * 6" skyjacker brackets w/extended radius arms and 5.5" RE Jeep Cherokee coils in the front.
I also have a 1.200" body lift just for convenience.
Tires are 35x12.50 KM2s on 0.00 backspacing AEA wheels.

The drivetrain came out of a 1993 Ford Explorer.
- OHV 4.0
- M5OD Manual
- 1354 Manual Tcase

As she sits right now, there is a 14.5" difference in measurement between the rain gutters on the Bronco II and a stock 4x4 Ranger (1992).

I currently have the beast running and driving but my wiring is a total nightmare (will post link once the other thread is up)

I'm looking forward to gaining knowledge about the Explorer portion of my truck on this forum.

The best of both worlds! I see you're in Utah, so you've got some good wheelin spots for it.
Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to this forum! You put a lot of hard work into your vehicle. You should make a build thread with photos to show how everything was done. A lot of parts are interchangeable. Do you have the Hollander Interchange Manual?
