- Explorer 95 Limited
My name is Nicole and I was born and raised in Germany but live since four years in Canada.
The first car we bought was a Explorer 1994 XLT V6 and I fell in love with it, also I was at first a little bit scared because I had never driven an automatic before. It was kind of wired not to control the shifting, but after a while I started to love it and now I don't want anything else.
Thats why I bought when the XLT broke down a 1995 Explorer Limited Edition Sport.... The sound-system alone was worth the money...hihi....
And even as ridicules as it sounds, I bought it with a few flaws, and now I have lots of trouble with it... but that's a different thread.
As you most likely can see, I am still improving my English, and hope it is good enough that you people don´t get a headache.
I am a cook, and mother housewife... well not exactly mechanically gifted, and not good in understanding my husbands explanations.
He is the one with the mechanic mind, how doe´s the fixing and stuff. But since he is a Diesel Mechanic and for Trucks to boot, he´s experience with smaller engines is limited especially when they are gas engines.
I think he believes I am crazy that I want to fix up the 95 Explorer.... may be I am...
This Forum already helped me a great deal, and I hope that I will learn a few things, and later may be able to give some of my own experience back.
