Hi Y'all. Just picked up a 2007 Explorer Sport Trac with 146K on it. The truck was owned by a Navy Vet friend of mine who took awesome care of it, the truck is immaculate except for a few scratches and faded running boards. I have been an Oldsmobile guy my whole life and this is definitely a deviation for me. I moved to Texas 3 years ago and realized I needed a pickup for the first time in my life. I did own a Bronco and T-Bird but both lasted less than 2 weeks due to theft and fire. The truck will also be a tow vehicle for my show car.

Welcome to the forum. Fords are not bad vehicles at all. Alot of people bad mouth them because they buy a wore out Ford and expect it to function as a new one.
A pickup truck is required if you are going to live in Texas. Did you get the hat and boots too?

welcome! the STs are nice trucklets! they do modt of that full size owners can do without the extra size of a full size. (unless youre moving lots of stuff, different story there)
