I have a 2010 ford explorer that stalls when the ac is on. I was told it is the IAC valve.Can anyone help?

welcome to EF!!!! when the ac is on, does it stall at idle, or even with a "high idling" i wonder if its got somehtin to do with the compressor. if it stalls at idle it could be the iac depending on how low the idle is. i heard there was no iac on these from another member, but i have never confirmed that for myself. ive got a 98. any pics of your rig?

Welcome to this forum! It should have the drive by wire system like a lot of new vehicles. You could check to see if there's no throttle cable.

No iac after 2005.

It stalls dies when ac is on. No iac. Changed crank and cam shaft sensors.

Is there a check engine light or a flashing overdrive light? This indicates that there's a code.

i wonder if its gotta do with the ac clutch as brooklyn mentioned, codes codes codes. could be many things! clutch, vacuum leak etc

Clean your throttle body /// plate

It's a good idea to clean the mass air flow sensor. They get dirty just like the air filter, throttle body, and anything else under the hood.
