'99 XLT V6 (SOLD)
Just joined this forum ...

I bought a couple of days ago a Dark Blue '99 XLT with a V6 engine. I bought this SUV after being involved in a rear-end collision that totalled my last vehicle ('04 GTO). This is my first SUV and I'm pretty happy with it. It has been well-kept (using OEM Motorcraft parts) and it has low miles. I hope it lasts forever ...

It only has 88,000 miles, but it looks and drives like a 30,000 car.

What items should I be concerned about with this mileage?

Thanks,
Gianni

Honestly if it's been taken care of well then there isn't much you should have to worry about. On the 2nd gens the rear wipers tend to go out, and the multifunction switch. (Turn signal lever switch)

What's the correct tire pressure for the 235/75/15? I found that the door says 26psi but the place that installed my new tires specifies 30 front / 35 back ...

Thanks,
Gianni

Definitely don't put only 26psi in the tires. Personally I wouldn't put less than 32psi I would suggest 35psi though. The more psi the better the mileage. I would put the same amount all the way around.
