Ive been creeping on this site and obsessing over Explorers for about a year now so im proud to say I finally got off my butt and went to buy one.

shes a 2004 and I have a bunch of ideas for it. any direction in cost effective ways to do these things, or pictures of ideas are encouraged.

im wanting to fill the wheelwell a bit. no idea what tire size would look good yet. also I may go black on the wheels. stock is 16 inches.

I want a cleaner sound out of the muffler, but I have no clue what to go with in that department.

also I wanna go roof rack (cargo basket) and grille guard. would rather have black rims before that.

any other mods worth changing?

im excited to watch it come along.

An easy, and often overlooked appearance modification would be window tinting. Tint those front windows, you'd be surprised how much better it looks, and how much cooler it stays inside!

Congrats, I just got myself a 2002. Believe it or not... Same exact color and it looks great minds think alike !!! I plan on pretty much the same thing. Good luck and keep us posted.
