New Member With Ford Explorer

Hello, My name is Darrel Funck (Retired Marine) residing in California. I have a 2006 ford explorer. I just paid $6,000.00 to have the engine rebuilt. Now I have to replace the y shaped catalytic converter. I have the replacement. I have the oxygen sensors off and I have it unbolted. I am having trouble removing the old and replacing the new. Help!!!!

Welcome to this forum! Do you have a propane torch, impact wrench, breaker bar, and a heavy hammer?

Do not have impact wrench

You should have sprayed the bolts down with penetrating oil a few days before attempting, will really make a difference.

But if you have everything that Brooklyn listed excluding the impact wrench you should still be ok.
