New name for ECX/XX VOTE!

I agree with you Lizardtrac. Why have two different clubs in the same area. Just have the one. As for the name, I chose ExtremeECX. I'm of the opinion that if you are going to merge two clubs, you should merge the names. But that's just me.

well ive givin it some thought, and talked to a few ppl not associated with the club.... I would liek to keep extremexplorers a few reasons... it takes on more then one meaning, the explorer part that is, you got explorer as in one who explores and explorer as in the truck, Ive gotten responces to both aspects of the name, when ppl see the name on my truck, and if their not familiar with what kind of truck mine is, they take it in a 'one who explores' maner. extremexplorers just has a take charge kind of name... it sorta hits hard... if ya know what I mean. Oh well.... thats my opinion... take as you will.

Im not going to exclude any states, if you live in FL, and want to get involved, not a problem, I dont think it would be fair to limit the club to certain states, heres how I would intend for it to work, if you get 10+ members from your state to join, there will be a chapter created for that state, otherwise, members for any state are more then welcome to join.

As of now, there will chapters created for the following states:

PA
NJ
NY
CT
MD
VA
WV
DE
NC

Sorta got a mid-atlantic thing goin on here... for now atleast.

I originally voted for ExtremeECX, but after reading this post, I have to agree that Extremeexplorers is definitely the one to go with.

i say we jus stick with both of them...either have ECX decals on ur X or eXtremeXplorers..<---i have that one...everyone likes both names...and everyone either has one or the other on there truck...i say we jus stick with both of them and jus tell people they mean the same thing....

Not just a MA chapter; I vote we do a New England chapter minus CT if they're with NY. Matt (FordExplorer157) and I were discussing heading up a new New England chapter to replace CBoug's defunct one. After all, Matt is in VT. I will likely be back in VT in the coming months, and there are probably a couple guys in NH. I know for a fact one has a friend in Enfield, NH who owns at least a hundred wheelable acres.

PS: I voted "Other": ESX? East Side eXplorers? It lets people know where we are and sounds fresher than the well-used ECX.
