This is my 3rd Explorer. Ran the '93 Sport HARD and forever. Not off road but definitely hard, burned 2 clutches in 4 years and not one tune up. I was a little disappointed in the '98 4 door base. It was always getting warranty work for something stupid. Dumped it after 1 1/2 years.

Have the corrected the trouble with the hubs not engaging or disengaging?

nope... we can't have two people in the denver area named Matt, one of us will have to go... j/k. Welcome . As for hubs engaging and not disengaging... I'm not really sure. Keep an eye on the "serious explorations" tab, we're always going off-road or meetin at hooters or something
