New owner in Sacramento

Wondering were the wife and I could get some first timer wheeling done in Sacramento?

I've wheeled before up in the Sutter Buttes YEARS ago with my Yota, but I need something to test the waters with the XLT to get familiar with it.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Im from Folsom and Id try Prairie City SVRA. Its closer to me out on White Rock Road. they have a nice (but a tad small) 4x4 area with varying difficulty obstacles. Or go out to Rattlesnake Bar on Folsom Lake while the lake is low.

Thank you Grant. That sounds perfect! It's just 30 minutes from here. We'll certainly give it a go.

Does the Sacramento Explorer community ever go there as a group? Or perhaps even just a few guys from here? While on that subject, is there much of a Sacramento group?

well I know Lifeguard on here is from sacramento too and he has a pretty sweet X. Theres a few people up closer to folsom but Ive never gone with them. Im going to school in SoCal right now so I would come out but Im a little far away.
