New Pump, Thrown Code

hey there. I just had my fuel pump replaced and about a week later I've got a check engine light coming on with an OBD-II code of p0455 (large EVAP system leak). could this have been caused by the fuel pump being replaced?

sounds liek your gas tank cap (usaully triggers a small leak though) or one of the hoses to the tank or the main seal (big seal on the sender to the tank) is not connected right
