Well guys I blew my 7 month old 12" RF Power HX2 to shreds a few days ago, the next day I ordered some new subs

AW100150Q.jpg

2 15" Audiobahn AW150Q's the ebay auction said they were only 600 watts RMS, but after looking for the specs on the Audiobahn site it says they are 800 watts RMS, not bad considering I only paid $54 each for them

LOL......maybe not quite that far....but at least a few city blocks

first of all nice choice there you'll love them. helped a friend install a pair few months back. hate to burst your bubble though they are only 600 rms they don't carry that model aw150q anymore they have aw1500q though that is 800 rms. i had aw1805q which i blew the coil off the cone needless to say it's trash now. speaker box makes a nice fan stand though! still haven't figured out what i did to that 1200 rms monster maybe set the subsonic filter to low since i was only pushing 900 rms

ya i'm interested to see how these things perform. Are you planning on getting metered?

audiobahn is just for looks, there is much better out there, but i dont know if there is better for the price u got them for.

they'll be nice. they should be very comperable to my subs. if you put them in the right box with 5-600 rms to them they'll rock

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't complain no matter how they sound for that price! But I also agree with m3dia_lab that there is better... but you also pay for it!

Hope it sounds good!

You guys are nuts man....
I run a single 2 ohm 12 Boston Competitor at 350 RMS, thats plenty for me....

Back in the day I had 1500 Watts, 2 12's and a 15 all in a BMW 2002.............all I need now is some nice low end fill...............

I'm with you now too 410... I have a single Eclipse SW8102.4 for the low end and it sounds so good!

Looks good! Do you have pictures of where you would put them?

Those will be good especially for the price.

I'm just making a box and putting them in the cargo area, nothing special

You blew up a Power HX2? wow

lol......yup....was a bass mekanik song called 808 Tune Up...i had it on my computer and the subwoofer on my computer doesn't see the super low notes and so when i listened to it, there is a part toward the end of the song that goes real low and it made the sub bottom out and the voice coils ripped in half

well i've got everything in now, took me about 5 hours to make the box yesterday after all the screws & cutting and such

the box is 4 cubic feet after displacement of the port and subs, tuned to 32Hz to hit the sweet spot note @ 36Hz (if you know what this note does, then you'd love it) i will have pictures up soon...but its nothing special, just a box

i am definately not disappointed in the subs, they are much more crisp sounding than my power hx2 ever was, already way louder and im still in the break in period!!

Great to hear you like'em!
