New Steering Column to tighten steering?

Hey again, i just had a quick question. Can you get a steering column upgrade to tighten your steering? Or what can i do to tighten this up? Its been to the shop 3x for this problem.... :fire:

Hi Justin welcome to the site. What exactly did the shop do to "Fix" the problem each time its been in?

Im not excatly sure what "fix" to them means. to me it means repair. i have no idea what they did, but it did nto work, only a bit. they told me some steeing parts were worn *bearings*, and thats all.

If the 1st gen's are like the 2nd's, then i would recomend replacing the steering colum. It was only 2 bolts (bottom one was rather difficult, but extensions and swivels helped) and was fairly cheap from the junk yard. You can easily test this just by trying to move it back and fourth, if it moves its probably a little worn. It tightened my 95's w/ 160,000 on it to drive like my moms 01 w/ 20,000.
