new struts

hay ford people, i just bought a 2002 ford exp 4wd the back seams to set just a little lower than the front, quite sure i need new struts got 135000 miles on it, am looking at monroe #171322 or 181322 which one will do the job, dont drive interstate often and dont put much more than 5 to 6000 miles a year on it but big difference in price on is 85.00 the other is 125.00 any info on which or something better would be appreaciated. thanks

Many of us have installed the StrutTEK strut assemblies.

Both my rear springs were broken & my front struts were leaking when I bought my Ex in Feb 2010.

Now I'm running the StrutTEK's on all four corners and have nothing but good things to say about them! The ride is awesome and the price is right. I can't compare them to the original struts since they were FUBAR when I bought my Ex.

The rears were installed on 11/29/2010 & the fronts were installed on 2/20/2012.

I love them. The ride is great.

thanks for the reply, but got the monroe 171322 struts, the better ones, if it helps anyone i got them at partsgeek.com for 248.00 including shipping, best price i found,
now to replace them, how bad a job to do them or just pay to have it done, again thanks for the reply
