Hey guys...
Just getting into the idea of adding components and subs to my ride. i saw Blaupunkt's Overdrive Subs which have like 2.2" mounting depth and now i;'m thinking of possable areas...let me know if anyone has tried this before..i am consideirng making custom boxes for 2 10's under the rear seats, or a flase floor in the rear thats sits flush with the top of the wheel wells (about 5-6" higher then factory floor) and stick 2 10's in there in the front and a storage compartment in the rear half. In the Blaupunkt stuff it also says kick panels of most vehicles and in the hatch door. Does anyone happen to have apicture of the hatch door without the plastic covering on it? ANy other suggestions helpful!

I like the false floor Idea, Here is a pic of my false floor, and with 5-6" you would have enough to clear a lot of subs...Good Luck Travis!

vairking, what kind of wood/carpeting did you use, that looks very nice and clean. and where did you get those fans

Blaupunkt = crapola.

Yeah those are the ones. I'm going to try to get a nice setup installed before mid august when I go back to school. i'll keep you guys posted on how they work out. I'm pretty much sold on these Overdrive subs since the mounting options are far better then the regular subs....plus I can get quite a deal on them so even if they are not the *best* out there, my truck will still sound great and still have nice bass, with less cost and smaller boxes then if I was going with some other brand/type of sub.

seems like they wouldnet have much of an excursion.
