new tires

Its time for some new tires and im thinking of replacing the stock 255-70-16's with 265-70-16's. From what I can tell they are about a half inch taller and wider. Is anyone else running these? Any major changes in fuel economy or anything?

You won't notice anything since you have a V8. I upgraded to 265/75-16s which are one size larger then what you're thinking of and noticed no change at all in performance or economy. I'm sure there is a slight set back in performance, but nothing that you can feel seat of the pants. With the extra torque of the V8 there won't be a noticeable difference in economy either with such a small increase in size.
