Just wanted to say hi to the Denver crowd , as I've moved from Fort Collins. Anyone want to help put in a solid front axle for me ? Or maybe replace a timing chain? There'll be beer.......
you know it. as much as I like changing wheel bearings, cv shafts, and tie rods on the same interval as an oil change, its getting old. Plus the IFS has been a hindrance on some of the more advanced trails. Hows your rig holding up?
Jim, Im down to help with this project hell I'll help with the beer to! Im interested to see where this goes. Your Mounty will look good with a SAS. As long as I can take notes for the future of mine.
Well right now I have a 79 bronco with a blown motor lined up. Damn fine price on it, and should hopefully get some $ back after parting it out. If it weren't for the facts that A) I only have a one car garage, and B) I don't have a welder, I would have both trucks in pieces. So until I get some more space, preferably with a 220V outlet, I'm kind of on stand by. Plus my water pump decided that it would quit after just a year, so that's a little further up on the list. So much for getting SAS'd by Moab .
Zack, or anyone else, would you be down for a trail run at the end of this month? My mounty is a little too clean at the moment haha, plus the weather should be prime by then.
