New To Ford

Hello, my name is Steve, I'm 67 years old and I bought my first Ford about 3 months ago. I'm normally a Chevy man, but the price and necessity had me pick up this Explorer. I love the truck, but it needs a bit of work. I'm somewhat of a shade-tree mechanic, but all the new electronics are out of my league to tell the truth. I'm hoping to get some answers here

Steve, welcome to EF. I am in the same boat as you with the electronics, I was a tech for a couple years back in the late 70's/early 80's until I hurt my back. Now I do it for fun (rebuilding my 69 Mustang) & to save money by fixing our DD's.
