i was given a 91 explorer. the front end was rebuilt but the engine wasn't. the former owner changed the heads and head gaskets because it was leaking water out the exhaust. that works ok now but the truck would start and run beautifully for a few minutes then die. we tinkered with it, gave it a tuneup and it ran smooth, no knocks and started fine. then it would still die after a minute so he gave up on it for a while.then his nephew decided the truck was a parts truck and he took minor stuff like blower fans, and crank sensors and ign modules and ign coils and brake pads. and the brand new spark plugs and wires and he didn't leave the bolts or screws. so now the truck is mine and i need to go to the wrecking yard to get the nuts and bolts and put it all together. i suppose i should get a book on it as well. yes he is on the way to jail for stealing social security checks from his ex wife(my daughter) a**hole.
