So in high school in the 90s I had an F150, and a Ranger. My wife had a ranger. I’ve loved my fords. I recently bought a 2002 Explorer XLT to play with and as a second vehicle. It’s got a newly remanufactured engine with less than 10,000 miles on it and a new transmission with reinforced plates and spacers with about 1,000 miles on it. The 4x4 works pretty great. I plan to lift it, and beef up the suspension and transform it from a “soft road” vehicle to a true off road beast.
