new to the forum

I'm new to the forum, and as i said in my previous post i am considering a new lift/tire combo. I have a '91 XLT thats white. Right now i am running the stock suspension with stock size BFG's. The main way i use my X is at the beach. It does fairly good in the sand, but I am looking for a more aggressive look so that i can take some of the trails in the mountians of VA. If anyone has any tips for an Explorer with 184,000 miles on it it would be very helpful.

Welcome to the site.. You can run on the sand with that combination or any.. Just make sure you air down..

Welcome to the site.. please don't post the same question twice.. You only need to ask it once.. Like I said in my other post, you can run stock tires with no problems in the sand.. Just air down.. If you plan on getting a lift & tires, there are so many types available for you.. Just do a search on 1st generation lifts.. Alot of the members go up to GWNF to go wheeling..

welcome to the site.... tons of options are available for the first gen from mild to wild... you can do a 2" lift for clearance of 31" tires or go all out and put like a 6" lift for 35" tires... unless you want to go larger in which case a custom SAS is an option :)

The two threads have been merged.

Weclome to the site, and as Blee said, please don't double post....
