Hey, people. Just kickin back here and was bored so I decided to give this whole internet a try. Girlfriend's lap top, I've never owned a computer. So... I guess this is the part where I ask you a question. I am the sometimes proud owner of a 2000 Mountaineer. 5.0, and all wheel drive. Factory exhaust. Which means 2 cats on each side, two pipes going into one muffler, huge, by the way, one smaller pipe coming out, followed by a small resonator, then the tailpipe. Now here comes the obvious question... How much power would I gain by doing the exhaust? Starting with either headers, or mufflers? Both, if money allows...

If you have a 5.0 and want a good power and torque gain from exhaust you want to get Torque Monster Headers. Not cheap but the best exhaust upgrade you can do. Otherwise you are limited to catback exhausts and various mufflers that are out there. I'm still saving up for my set of TMH.
