new trans and truck wont start

I have a 1995 explorer auto trans. I just put a new trans in it and went to start it up and it just turns over and over. Its not getting any fuel, I pushed in the pressure check port and nothing and i dont hear the pump running to prime when i turn on the key. Any ideas would be helpfull.

I would recommend one cheap check. Find the fuel relay in the power distributon center on the driver side of the engine compartment. Swap with another module or tap the module and try a restart. In my Limited, the relay would stick, preventing the fuel pump from operating until I gave the relay a tap. I eventually replaced the relay and problem solved.

if the car ran before you did the tranny, you should have pressure at the test port. Check the inertia switch under the dash, passenger side

Do you see a check engine light when you turn the key? If not, then check the PCM relay, fuse, and the ground connection.
