New transmission..question

So i just had the transmission on my 04 v6 4x4 eddie bauer replaced (88k), ive been driving on it for about 500 miles now, and it feels great. A 5r55s tranny was put in there (at the ford dealer re manufactured). One thing i noticed that i thought was funny... When on a hill my truck ALWAYS rolled backwards when at a stop before i hit the gas. Now, with the new trans i can be on a steep incline, take my foot off the gas and the truck just holds there without rolling backwards. Any comments on that? Is there a chance that i did not have the 5r55s in there before? Im stumped.

Most likely your torque converter. The difference could be new/completely filled trans fluid I'm thinking.

Ive also noticed more torque going to the wheels when accelerating from a stop. truck seemed to lag before the change until it hit 2k rpm. Oh well, hopefully the motor will last till 200k its basically a new truck now lol
