New Truck Cap

So last friday I took a little roadtrip to a place a hour away to pick up my new leer truck cap. Its red and doesnt go well with the green but it fits perfect and I love it. But so many blindspots!

Well heres the whoring:

Picture Quality is bad but my camera is broke haha.
Only thing is the mounting tape is bad so It leaks a little and the locks are seized up.

well the truck cap is nice one.
nice color, it suits with the Christmas Occasion.

I agree, its a amazing cap. And it was priced right at 50 bones.

Only thing id prefer would be windoors and carpeted interior.

You can swap in some windoors - since you only paid $50 for it, the extra investment would probably be worth it.

As for the locks, flush them out with oil (such as Break Free, not WD40). If that doesn't work, you can replace them, too.

Is that possible?(windoors not locks) It looks like the seal around each window is permanent.

Sure - remember, the window was put it when the shell was new. It can be removed.

On the inside, there should be a row of screws in the window frame, all around the window. They hold the outer part of the "clamp". Remove those screws, remove the clamp (may be stuck in place with sealer) and you can remove the window (again, stuck in place with sealer.)

Talk to Leer and/or your local dealer about getting the replacement windows. They will also have better instructions for replacement.

Thats what I thought haha. But I dont mind that it came early

Im cant put it in till after x mas but then its going in ASAP. Thanks alot it really is nice.
