Bought some BSA 304's. 17 x 8 Now should I buy some wheels spacers to compensate for the added inch in width? Or would the 5mm less be negligible?

What is the backspacing and offset measurements of the wheels?

the offset is 40mm and backspacing is ..... hmmm cant find that one. with width and off set you can find backspace? right? I was thinking 1.5in wheel spacers.

well using (width -backspacing)/2 = offset i calculated a backspacing of 4.86in. Using the calculator on that sticky i got 5mm more into the wheel well. Should I get wheel spacers? I will also be stepping from 235's to 255's. I dont want to run into rubbing issues.

What I would do, is get the wheels, put them on (with or without tires) and see what it looks like. Worse come to worse, you have to order spacers but with that much difference - it shouldn't make that big of a difference
