New Wheels

Hey I've got an 02 XLT with a coil spring lift and 265/75/16's and the next upgrade on my list is new wheels. I was just wondering if anyone has an opinion about putting black wheels on a white truck. My explorer is white, and I typically think that chrome wheels look better on white trucks and black wheels look better on black trucks. But I saw some pics of some white tacoma's with black moto metal wheels and I though it looked pretty good. Please give me you're input on the subject.

I think black looks great, a little polished or chrome is nice with it too though.

nice job on the photoshop! that really is a great tool for this. the black rims look BA! maybe it would look good to find some of those kinda grey rims (knight chrome maybe) to match your trim.

Black rims would probably look better on the ride if the gray trim was also painted black or white. Here's with some black rims on your x would look like...

I'm actually thinking about going with chrome wheels, probably the pro comp xtreme alloy series 6001:

I'll post some pics once I get the new wheels and put them on.

Chrome looks good on almost everything...find a side profile pic preferably in similar lighting and I'll put em on yours if you'd like...I photoshopped my crotch rocket with all sorts of colors before deciding! I saved like 30 different layers and each had a different color! Best way to see what you'll get w/out paying for 30 paint jobs!

I'd definately go chrome if i was you. Just so they'd match the chrome bull bar up front.

what spring lift heights did you go with for the front and rear? Looks really good!

Thanks. I used 2.5" springs up front and 1.5" in the rear
