Hello everyone, I'm a newb here. I am a newb to cars also. I am very intelligent and learn very quickly though, so hopefully this will apply with cars as well. I have been trying to learn absolutely as much as I can about cars and especially running cars economically lately. I am most interested in longevity of vehicles and the idea of alternative fuels and/or increasing their economy not only by price of gas and gas mileage, but new ideas on preventitive maintenance to lower repair costs etc. I really hope to become a 'guru' of these things, and this website has most definitely given me an excellent point of beginning
. Thanks so much already, I've learned a ton just by reading and 'lurking'. I can't wait to try some of the things outlined in this website (bypass oil filtration being on the top of my list).
Nice to meet you all, hope I can become a contributing member of your community
