thanks for the welcome guys!

the explorer is a 5-speed and its a load of fun to drive
it came with the window tint...

though i have a question... and im not sure if this is the right place to post it but ill go on ahead and ask...

i have a hole about the size of my thumb in the vacume hose and im not sure what caused it...and every time i plug it with my thumb and wants to die but i just move my thumb so it doesnt. it doesnt effect the way the vehicle drives or run except that every now and then the idle gets a little rough.

any ideas guys? cause i would like to get it fixed cause im sure it cant be good.

could something be clogged or something?

It looks great, cant wait to see it lifted. Just buy a vacume hose and replace it...cant be more that a few bucks.

Post a pic so we can see exactly what vacuum hose your talking about (make sure to include a pic of where it goes).

what do yall think?

it kinda looks like it collapsed which makes me think somethings clogged...

P.S. nice explorer sam... you should get a video of your exhaust

kris i try to get a clip of the exhaust and also i try do a drive by video of the exhaust as well.

how did u get that hole or crack on ur vaccum hose. That sux big time man hope u get it fixed asap.

Anyways u plannin on modding ur sport at all besides lift are you gonna do anything else to it.

kris

i like ur tint is that limo tint all around. I am thinkin of doing limo tint all over my sport as well.

im not sure about the tint it came already on it.

and the crack in the vacuum hose was there when i bought it as well...

yeah i want to do alot of stuff.

-K&N air intake
-flowmaster super 40 w/magnaflow high flow cats 2.5in piping all around with 3.5in tips
-jba or headman headers
-Jet performance programmer
-and if it would work w/ body lift, a hurst short shifter

and when i lift it i want 4.10 gears and an ARB air locker

coo my dual 40 series flowmaster tips are 2 1/2 inch tips but i wanna get bigger like 3 inch

The vacuum crack is weird.. Since you indicate the engine runs poorly when you seal the crack You'll have to trace the hose back to where it goes to see the source of the problem. Unfortunately I don't have an '02 and can't offer more assistance.. :dunno:

I Thought I might would end up having to do that so thanks for your input. I now kinda have a clue on how I'll go about trying to get it fixed. Hopefully ill find the problem and get it fixed.
