Newbe Question...

Hello everyone! I just bought a 2001 Sport Trac. I am very excited to finally have one! I have a question about the key pad on the door. I have done some searching, however I am not very familar with the forum here...so I have not seen it. I am trying to find the code for my keypad on the drivers door!

That's fine for a Sport, but not a Sport Trac.

I believe ours is located below the rear center power window inside the storage area. But, I can't run outside to verify that because my Sport Trac has been living at SVO's house 150miles away from here.

Mine's a 2001 Job 1 Sport Trac, I believe my module is still in the back below the power window. Great fun knowing the differences in the Job 1 and Job 2 Sport Tracs.

Mine must be a Job 2... I found my module behind the airbag just as the article said!

There's some magic date in June of 2000 that divides the Job 1 and Job 2 Sport Tracs. I'm too lazy too look it up right now.

Mine was built in March of 2000. Dang, my baby is 7 years old now. Time flies when you are having fun.
