Hi folks,
I just bought a 98 Explorer 4.0 SOHC. I've got a new CAI unit ready to install.
The stock air tube has 3 connections on it in addition to the MAF sensor. I've noticed that there is only 1 nipple on the new tube, presumably for the vacuum line. The second connection is for the IAT. I can drill a hole for the that and put a rubber grommet in there to get that connected.
Here's my question: the third connection will be for the PCV hose. Does anyone know where you can get a connector to put in the new CAI pipe that will fit the PCV hose? I'm hoping there is something either at an auto parts store or the local hardware store that will do, but I'm not sure where to start. I'm hoping to find something that is more or less made for it if possible.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Bob
