Hi - just registered. Looking for info on Super Springs, air shocks, add-a-leaf etc to pull tent trailer with '96 XLT 6-cyl w tow package. Bought new, still love it, with one exception. It has always been too susceptible to headlights in the air with moderate to heavy loading in the back, e.g. camping gear and bike rack on hitch. I was surprised at this weakness from day one, espec with the tow package.

Don't need any advice just yet; I'm starting to browse and study product reviews. Great site!

add-a-leafs are great, but if you want real control over the rear end, air suspension is the way to go.

FWIW- I did an add-a-leaf on my '97 this summer and it helped mine, although eventually I would like to replace the spring pack entirely.....
