I would like to add some lights to my 1993 XLT but I really don't even know where to begin. The things I have been interested in are possibly some headlight strobes...(how do they work, do you need a switch inside to turn them on)

Also I want to put a neon bar in the cab that blinks with my music. (basically same questions for this too)

I just turned 16 and want to learn how to do this kind of stuff on my own. So any articles or good explanations would be greatly appreciated.

I dont know about the neon bar cab, but i can try to help you out with the headlight strobe. I got this installed in my front blinker not the headlights. I didnt do it myself but i sneaked a peak at the install. What you have to do is drill a whole into the headlight housing. Make sure the whole is just the right size so that it is not too loose to fall out and not too tight so that it wont fit. Then you can connect it to a fuse and run it inside by drilling another hole for the switch. I put my switch under the dash near the pedals. My fog switch is also there. Hope this helps.
