Newbie needs advice

Hey all, Im looking at buying an 04' Eddie Bauer 4.6L and every option they come with, sunroof, class 3 towing and side airbags rear air. The only problem is that it has 99500 miles on it. The dealer only wants 10000 for it, its a ford dealer. I get a 6 month 6000 mile waranty on it. I have driven it and I love it no noises no delayed shifts no blinking lights no diff noises. What do you guys and girls think? Am I jumping into shark infested waters or just the kiddie pool. Oh and btw. It was sold new at this dealer to a friend of the owner it is one owner and never had a hitch in the slot all maint. done with records. All Input welcome I NEED TO KNOW! thanks

Welcome to this forum! Always have another mechanic check it over, and don't rely on the dealer to say that everything is OK.

It sounds like a good deal as long as everything they are telling you is the truth.

My '04 is sweet. Sounds like a good deal. At 100k you may need some wear items replaced if they havnt been but no different than any OTHER make/model with a 100k on it.

im just worried about the tranny. also they havent called back today about some issues i had so never mind i guess
