I have an 04 sport trac. I absolutely love this truck and I take good care of it. Recently, when I am doing some heavy acceleration my truck will rpm clear up over 4,000 before shifting occasionally the engine light has come on for a brief moment of course telling me the rpm's are being pushed. The Trans fluid was replaced professionally at 60,000 (just as a maintenance I asked for this) The truck now has 70,000 shifts and runs great other than this issue I am having. Any ideas? While I have you since the day i bought this truck sharp turns will give me a heavy popping noise in the rear. Almost sounds like the axle slips back and forth. Ford has looked at this 5 times and never found anything just wondering if any one else would know.
