No 4x4 on my 96 4x4.

i have a 96 xl and i think im sold for life with explorers, i got most of the kinks worked out all except the 4x4 wont switch on. im not one for taking any vehicles to the shop i can just fix it myself. but i cant figure this one out. anyone help?

give us a little info on what is,or is not happening with it,
no lights ?
no clicking ?

hey how are ya? no nothing happens, no click or lights. i checked all fuses and relays i could find. but because theres nothing on the dash that it would be electrical not mechanical rite?
