I have an 04 explorer and yesterday everything was working fine. Now no air flow is coming out of the front. I've tried both hot and cold, also on each setting- defroster, vents, and floor. It is now summer in AZ and in the 100's any help would be greatly appreciated.

It could be a "vacuum line" problem to your dash vents/control knob(behind dash) or it could be a "air recirculation door" panel located behind the glove box (Upper section) fell off it's hinge points inside the blower box and is laying on it's side blocking fan/blower flow to your vents. This panel can be easily removed. Use the search box at the top of the forum and type in a question regarding your issue or use the description of the problem I gave you. Include your year Explorer in the question and it should pull up plenty of past posts regarding what could have caused your problem.

It could also be a broken actuator that moves the vent door. I have both the air reciruclation door problem and this broken actuator behind the vents. See these postings:

Mine has similar issue and is caused by this http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/...d.php?t=323586

I have no idea what the broken part is called, but here's mine. Broken just like the link above.

broken actuator arm

I seem to have the same problem, but can the part be bought from a dealer, or the whole assembly? It's either missing or broken into a couple of pieces...

I have pictures that I could post, but somehow I cannot post attachments to the this thread.

Thanks for the help. It was actually the motor blower relay $9.00 fix.
