No Brake lights or flashers

I am stumped...no brake lights (I do have turn sig and parking lights) also no flasher lights. I have checked back bulbs and fuses and all are good.
Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks for your help in advance.

could it be one of the fuses or relays under the hood?

If all the fuses check out, I would look at the brake light switch behind the brake pedal. They get loose or go bad sometimes.

i was going to suggest that, but that shouldn't affect the flashers?
